According to a recent survey of on-line giving trends, the largest charities are seeing significant growth from internet fundraising, while smaller charities are still doubtful about the benefits.* The report however, claims that on-line fundraising has become the second most cost-effective income stream, with only ‘major donors’ giving a better return on investment.

Few people go straight to a website and give, unless prompted to do so by an email. They go to a website, sign up for an email newsletter, and then little by little, are wooed into supporting the charity. So, having your ‘Donate Now’ button on your home page might not be the best strategy.

Having fantastic stories and pictures of your work on your website without a functional on-line donation facility is like have a beautiful shop window display but no-one manning the tills.

If your on-line donations have been disappointing why not give us a call?  It may only take some simple changes in your communications strategies to make internet fundraising one of your best assets.
